OCTOBER 2 BEGINS A NEW GENERATION OF WRESTLING: ALL ELITE ON TNT TO PREMIERE





Executive vice president and AEW wrestler Cody Rhodes spoke with the press about regaining the interest of disillusioned fans that stopped watching wrestling years ago for various reasons.

Rhodes explained that introducing the cast is the most important thing, which is why AEW has various YouTube series like Being The Elite and the Road To series.

Additionally, Dynamite will do the same. “There has to be a human connection,” Rhodes explained during the conference call. “You have to know who these folks are.

“We got two hours of moldable clay that we call Dynamite,” he later continued. Those who don’t participate in watching the videos on social media will still get a full experience of being introduced to these stars and what makes them tick on the premiere episode of Dynamite.

MEANWHILE THE WWE is going back in time to take on the sudden new competitor.. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will return to WWE SmackDown Live for its premiere on Friday..

Fox will be the sixth network to air WWE SmackDown, following previous stints on UPN, The CW, MyNetworkTV, Syfy and, most recently, USA Network. As part of a five-year deal with the WWE, new two-hour episodes will air 52 weeks a year beginning Friday at 8/7c.

Also: During an appearance on Los Angeles-based radio station KROQ 106.7 FM’s Kevin & Bean Show this morning (Tues., Oct. 1) CM Punk addressed all the rumors and reports about him joining Fox’s WWE studio show and even possibly returning to the ring for Vince McMahon’s company.

MEANWHILE.. competition begins … All Elite Wrestling’s first episode of Dynamite airs on TNT on Wednesday, October 2 at 8 PM ET.
