Paramount has the film scheduled for a March 8, 2024 theatrical release.
Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) was attached to write and direct A Quiet Place: Day One for a while, but when he dropped out he was replaced by Pig director Michael Sarnoski.
Details on this spin-off are being kept under wraps. The story does take place in the same world established in the first two movies, but apparently doesn’t involve the Abbott family, the characters we followed through the two movies directed by John Krasinski.
