HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) – USGS reports that a magnitude-6.5 earthquake hit off the coast of Humboldt County.

At this point, no tsunami warning has been issued.

The quake was first reported as a magnitude-6.8 but was later downgraded.
