I don’t think I have ever been so entertained by an official Facebook page until I saw the official SPRINT page. I sense you’ll be entertained as well: https://www.facebook.com/sprint
First off, I lost my grandfathered ATT unlimited data a few months ago. So these new ads with Sprint telling me they will give me it back perked my interest.. Until I traveled to the nearest Sprint store only to have an actual honest sales person talk me OUT of switching..
Then I went to the Facebook where I saw the truth.. the unbridled unabashed truth..
Person after person complaining with real stories real events and real tales of Sprint. People saying how horrible things are.. how awful service is.. dropped calls, slow data, phones turning off for no reason, and dishonest fool selling them.. The typical response from Sprint is also laughable: The most popular are these:
We are sorry to have lost you as a valued Sprint customer. If you ever change your mind, please know that you are always welcome back.
And
We certainly appreciate your continued loyalty to Sprint. We would be more than happy to review what options we have available for you, as far as lowering your monthly bill. Please send us a DM with your telephone number, account PIN and the best time to contact you. We look forward to speaking with you.
The problem for SPRINT: They seem to be responding this way to every single message.. The entire Facebook page is dominated by horrible awful comments. People angry–incensed that if they were being attacked by a bear they would be unable to even GOOGLE what to do (this is actually a point often brought up on the page) ..
The public relations nightmare is obvious. Sprint can do what they need to do by posting studies showing a fast networks in certain cities, but the overwhelming response to the company is negative. Even on the Facebook page.
The credit of Sprint, they aren’t deleting comments–at least I don’t think. Unless, of course, there are even ANGRIER and more negative comments not being permitted to last..
On one hand, Sprint is showcasing itself as a company that responds to negative comments with a plan to help. But … they are doing it so often, the negative aspects of the company are more dominant than they responses.

Unlimited wireless.. Along with unlimited anger and hostility towards a company promising the world without being able to deliver it.
As a friend reminded me, Murphy Brown supported Spring. But that was 1992.
