The horrors of ISIS are being broadcast around the world (people are forced to throw their own children off of cliffs as opposed to let them face ISIS) .. But here is a new perspective I haven’t heard yet: Paul Thigpen makes the link between the warlords of the Islamic State (IS) and their historic predecessors, the warlike Assyrians.. Certainly seems like someone on this planet is pushing a new 21st century holy war.. A same.. 2014 and we still fight about ancient relics of things that are most likely documentably absurd.. party like it’s 1499 and come to the party so 1000 and late..
I cannot take anymore news about ISIS today.. it’s beyond upsetting and revolting.. and for the horror movie fans who email me saying I don’t pay enough attention to fiction, get real.. very real: Horror is everywhere.. this site is not only about horror of the big screen or small, it’s the horror in life.. the awful depravity of humanity. . the sick and twisted nature of our reptilian ways..
But it also tries to find the shining bright examples of goodness, and celebrates that which is beautiful and amazing. Any parent knows what beauty is: The electricity and light that illuminates from your child’s wide eyes. Love that light, be the light.. Be light.
Only light shining in the darkness of this planet will rid us of the pain that binds us.

If you believe…they put a man on the moon. No, like really.. do you believe that this is a man walking on the moon? Some do.. it’s certainly a creepy background song that the YOUTUBE video contains.. but the even creepier thing is to contemplate that a man is walking on the moon with his shadow trailing behind him. The image is getting some attention.. And some are saying that the man walking on the moon looks a lot like the statue the “COLOSSUS OF RHODES”.. if you believe they put a Colossus on the moon.. Or just the lunar Slenderman taking a supermoon stroll ..
Missouri Misery: Vandalism and looting after a vigil for a Missouri man.. A few thousand people have crammed the street where a black man was shot multiple times by a suburban St. Louis police officer. He was 18, his name was Michael Brown.. and he is dead from the police shooting..
In the wake of this, and the peaceful vigil: Anything from harmony..
Unrest in Missouri.. Confrontations between residents of St. Louis and police.. bottles being hurled at officers and police cars being kicked.. A TV van was attacked .. The crowd shouted ‘kill the police’ .. Even more: A WALMART store was looted and employees took shelter and hid from the looters.. This is not a protest .. this is lunacy.. under a supermoon on a Sunday night in St. Louis..

I agree with Sinead O’Connor .. She argues that males performers are also the victims of sexualization.. And she said that Justin Bieber was sold on his sexuality.. Perhaps it’s some advice that Beebs should take heed of from Sinead. I frankly think that often major record labels (just music at this juncture) sexualize any child they see.. all for profits.. filth of old men pervading our sense of wonder on this planet.. ruining the lives of any children they market and those being marketed too.. shame never comes to their brains, though.. Any dog owner (and pet owner all the same) will agree: Any animal that spans three presidents and two decades means something in life.. they represent love they give to a family and also a bench mark on your own life.. Enjoy your pet .. pet them fondly and often.. They grow old too quick, as McDermott points out .. and they go too soon as any of us who have owned animals certainly knows..
