In a recent edition of John B. Well’s CARAVAN TO MIDNIGHT radio program, the former Coast to Coast AM radio host unleashed on current Coast host George Noory without naming him directly.
During episode 63 of the CARAVAN talked about his ‘old radio program’ and how he thought he would be ‘among persons’ of ‘higher thinking,’ discussing subjects that were stimulants to the ‘brain and spirit.’ Wells said that some from Coast to Coast AM have contacted him, hinting that it is a means of keeping an eye on him. He said that someone from the old program wanted him to post his shows ahead of time.
You may recall that Art Bell publicly stated during his brief stint on SIRIUS XM that Coast to Coast AM was poaching his guests and also telling their guests not to appear on the DARK MATTER program.
Wells was also critical of Coast to Coast’s choices of guests, stating that Coast purposely brought on a nuclear expert to downplay the Fukushima disaster.
During another program after his initial comments regarding Coast to Coast AM, Wells also gave a public ‘hello’ to Lisa Lyons–someone who is associated with Coast to Coast AM. Perhaps an allusion is being made that Lyons was the insider from Premiere who asked Wells who his guests were before he had them on.
Wells exited as the Saturday host of Coast to Coast AM months ago. At that time, Premiere Radio seemed to take the position that Wells went off onto a new venture. Even Noory, who publicly commented about the Wells departure on his program, said that John Wells left the program to do his own radio program. However, others including Wells himself have alluded to a forceful exit as opposed to the peaceful goodbye espoused by Premiere Radio.
The CARAVAN TO MIDNIGHT radio program has recently been fighting over online piracy, with Wells naming names during his programs and publicly decrying the pirate streams and YouTube uploads of his program. The CARAVAN TO MIDNIGHT is an online only show and subscription only service exists.

It’s too much money to be a member. I like Wells, but I cannot afford that price.
don’t pay it then. But don’t expect others to just put it on youtube for free, Wells is working hard to do this show and should not be undercut by ‘fans’ who really aren’t fans. Garuarteed they are working for premiere radio.
What are you smoking if you can’t afford 5$ per month? Must be good stuff…
It is only five dollars more per year than coast to coast! You don’t have to pay all at once, either. there are monthly prices or 1/2 year price, too.
borrow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
As a charter subscriber, I really must admit with very few exceptions Wells interviews are the most informative I’ve ever heard. Worth the $5 a month, cup of Starbucks price.
or the proper cup of tea!
I cannot believe noory is still on. seriously. doesn’t anyone actually listen to how bad that show is?
It’s so annoying, when a caller is dumped and the guest wants to have a conversation with the caller and George says that the caller is gone or hung up, when we all know he dumped them.
John B’s shows are very interesting, informative and thought provoking. His guests, (with a few exceptions) are always something different and cross a broad spectrum of interests. Even though I’m a bit of a Liberal, there is an awful lot of commonality between the “left v right” paradigms that people have no idea exists.C2C on the other hand is drifting towards the highly boring. I’m hoping NOT to hear some of the good people on there that I hear on CTM. I would be pretty disappointed to hear Alex Jones, for example ever set foot on Coast again. Keep it up JBW, we’ve got your back.
he was on with Noory not too long ago–after the firing of Wells
Alex Jones, like John B. is all about the message and the more exposure the better. I like to think that Alex’s appearance on the Piers Morgan show was the final nails in that Red Coats coffin!
Thanks John for all you do. If more tv and radio “talking heads” listened to you, the current state of affairs might be better off.One suggestion: It would be great if you could post a short one or two minute “hi guys” video on Facebook from time-to-time, just to say “Hello” and let us know what’s going on. I think it worked well during the upstart days of C2M, it can work well again.
I refuse to listen to George Noory any further. He has lost all credibility.
I waitewd for my Coast subscription to end and pulled my credit card and then sent them an e-mail, explaining how bad the show is, now and that I am now a caravan to Midnight subscriber, because of how they treated John B. Wells. They can bite me!
might get rabies, beware
noory is snoory. I can not believe people listen to him. He is the most irritating person I have ever listened to.
He actually plays music that I request.. that is great. Love the program
Give me some songs you request.. is Hayling one of them?
Wells, I’ve listened to your show on C2C many many times and I can indeed tell you are one of the good guys. Unfortunately your acumen involving the changes in narrowcasting, content distribution and building a brand in the streaming radio world will be the end of you. Period. Unless you engage someone who understands the paradigm shift that began 10 yrs ago and bring them on to your team. Dead Serious Brotha-man.Your business model is dead on the vine. Subscriptions don’t work, embrace piracy and think outside the box. I ran 3 different bi-weekly music radio shows at hardly any cost 10+yrs ago and had 200+ listeners. How did I monetize it? I didn’t. I was a lover of old school punk, downtempo and pot-rock genres and focused on building audience.Seriously, you’ve got to forget about monetizing content and preventing piracy. You can’t fight it. Embrace it in an innovative way.Your brand is your voice and personality, there is a huge gaping hole now, be smart and stay 3 steps ahead. I cannot think of anyone other than Art (and Punnet) who can leverage their brand in this categoryWant to talk? I’m cool with that, hit me up:

John was the best talkshow host Coast ever had and they threw him to the curb. He humbly stood up and brushed himself off and continued to give. I would pay the meager subscription for as long as he lives if I can, even if the price goes up. In the digital world we have a choice by putting our money where out mouth is. I sincerely hope that the vast majority of his fans will continue to pay him for his work, he is charging a very small amount of money for what we get.
I look forward to hearing his show every weeknight.
He had style and class.
I think he is doing better without COAST.
Inside story says that Noory was jealous the weekend ratings were higher than the entire week of Noory shows put together.
