YESTERDAY becomes surprise summer hit .. TOY STORY 4 stays on top while ANNABELLE at least makes a profit

Blame it on the Mandela Effect!

The Danny Boyle-directed musical romantic comedy YESTERDAY featuring the music of the Beatles debuted well over industry expectations, earning an estimated $17 million from North American theaters. The film was highly talked about in various Mandela Effect groups online — whether that actually had an effect or not is fair game for criticism. But all attention is good attention.

TOY STORY 4 continues its first place romp..

ANNABELLE made $31 mil– a low for the franchise..
But it’s justifiable as it only cost $27 mil. . . so at least there’s some profit..

All eyes set for this week: In the dead heat of the Fourth of July week, both MIDSOMMOR and SPIDER-MAN are set to verse at a mid summer box office.. Drama awaits the money kings..
